Biography

Haldun was born in the year 2003 and he is from a small town in southern Finland. He was raised by a single mother and his childhood and teenage years were not easy. As a child he spent a lot of time going to hospitals due to health problems. He was a very shy child and never had a lot of friends. Often times when Haldun would trust other people they would betray his trust resulting in a lot of bitterness, resentment and mistrust.

The first form of art that Haldun really got into was graffiti art in his teenage years and he eventually proceeded to make art in a more traditional way. He would start by learning and experimenting with many different styles but found it really difficult because he had no experience in the fine arts. By watching a lot of instructional videos and reading books on painting he would constantly improve and eventually he would find the most interest in painting still lifes and landscapes, a subject which he would be painting for some time. In his early adulthood he would also become interested in the middle eastern and north african culture and the Arabic language which he would start to study independently. Through this interest he would also discover the religion of Islam and would eventually become a muslim.

Haldun kept on painting for a couple of years up until he was struck by severe health issues and was forced to give up painting entirely for almost two whole years. In 2023 Haldun’s situation got a little bit better and he was able to move to live by himself and start painting again. Currently Haldun is living alone in a small apartment and trying to simultaneously deal with his health issues and start an art career.
